- Owner
- Admin

-

-

-

Which role to give
| Role | Give it to | Can do |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | The person responsible for the account | Everything, including billing and deleting the workspace |
| Admin | Team leads, ops managers | Manage members, the WhatsApp connection, integrations, contact fields, templates, campaigns, automations, contacts |
| Agent | Support and sales staff | Work the inbox, manage conversations, notes, tags, view contacts and analytics |
Agents do not see SettingsWhatsApp, SettingsMembers, SettingsIntegrations, SettingsContact fields or SettingsBilling. They keep General and Notifications.
Full matrix: roles and permissions.
Seats
Each plan includes a number of agent seats and every member holds one, including the owner. SettingsBilling shows "X of Y agent seats used".
If you are at the cap, the invitation is refused. Either remove someone or change plan. On plans that sell extra seats, you can add seats from SettingsBilling and the prorated amount is charged immediately. See billing and plan changes.
Change a role or remove someone
On a member's row, open the ⋮ menu:
- Change role. Pick a new role. You can only assign roles at or below your own level, which is why an admin never sees Owner in the list.
- Transfer ownership. Owners only. The other person becomes an owner. Keep Step down to Admin ticked to hand over completely; untick it to become co-owners.
- Remove member. Access is revoked immediately. Their conversations stay and can be reassigned.
You cannot act on your own row, and only an owner can act on another owner.
