Labels and Tags
Organize your contacts and conversations with tags to keep your workspace structured and target the right audience for campaigns.
Contact Tags
Tags are labels you attach to contacts. Use them to segment your audience:
- Customer type — "VIP", "New", "Repeat Buyer"
- Location — "Mumbai", "Delhi", "Bangalore"
- Interest — "Product A", "Service B"
- Status — "Lead", "Customer", "Churned"
Adding Tags
- Open a contact and click Add Tag
- Use bulk actions to tag multiple contacts at once
- Tags are added automatically when importing contacts via CSV (if a tags column is mapped)
Tag Limits

Using Tags for Campaigns
When creating a broadcast campaign, filter your audience by tags. Send targeted messages to specific segments instead of blasting your entire list.
Examples:
- "Diwali Sale" campaign → contacts tagged "Delhi" + "VIP"
- "New Arrival" campaign → contacts tagged "Product A"
- "Payment Reminder" → contacts tagged "Pending Payment"
Managing Tags
Go to Settings > Tags to:
- View all tags and how many contacts have each
- Rename tags
- Delete tags (contacts are untagged, not deleted)
